It will directly shape how AI reasons about compliance, risk, and security — making a lasting impact on the next generation of AI systems. - Organization: Alignerr - Type: Hourly Contract - Location: Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do - Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness - Classify and evaluate real-world compliance scenarios across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST - Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation - Generate and validate high-quality training and evaluation data for AI systems - Apply your professional judgment to identify nuanced gaps, misclassifications, and edge cases Who You Are - 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management - Solid familiarity with one or more frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar - Comfortable reading, interpreting, and critiquing policy and audit-style documentation - Detail-oriented with precise, well-structured written reasoning - Self-motivated and able to work independently on asynchronous tasks Nice to Have - Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows - Background in information security, internal audit, or enterprise risk management - Experience writing or reviewing security control narratives or risk assessments Why Join Us - Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs - Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule - Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration - Contribute to meaningful work that shapes how AI understands security and compliance - Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
