About the Role We're looking for experienced GRC professionals to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI systems. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs — and we need practitioners who understand how security policies, compliance programs, audits, and risk management actually work inside real organizations. Your real-world expertise will directly shape how AI reasons about compliance, risk, and security policy. This is a rare opportunity to influence frontier AI from the inside — no research background required. - Organization: Alignerr - Type: Hourly Contract - Location: Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do - Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness - Classify and evaluate compliance scenarios across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST - Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation - Generate and validate high-quality training and evaluation data for AI systems - Apply your practitioner knowledge to identify gaps, errors, and edge cases in AI-generated GRC content Who You Are - 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management - Familiar with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or similar - Comfortable reading, interpreting, and critiquing policy and audit documentation - Detail-oriented with precise, structured written reasoning - Self-motivated and able to work independently on a flexible schedule Nice to Have - Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows - Background in information security, internal audit, or third-party risk - Experience writing or reviewing control narratives, risk registers, or compliance reports Why Join Us - Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs - Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule - Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration - Contribute to meaningful work that shapes how AI understands security and compliance - Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
