About the Role We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI — and we need practitioners who know GRC from the inside out. As a GRC Analyst, your real-world experience with compliance frameworks, risk assessments, and security controls will directly shape how AI systems reason about these critical domains. This isn't a traditional compliance role. You'll be working at the intersection of your professional expertise and cutting-edge AI development — reviewing scenarios, evaluating AI outputs, and helping create the high-quality datasets that frontier models are trained on. - Organization: Alignerr - Type: Hourly Contract - Location: Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do - Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness - Evaluate AI-generated compliance scenarios across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST - Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation - Generate and validate training and evaluation data used to improve AI reasoning on GRC topics - Provide structured, precise written feedback that directly influences AI model quality - Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule Who You Are - 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management - Solid familiarity with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar - Comfortable reading and interpreting policy documents, audit reports, and control documentation - Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning skills - Able to work independently and deliver consistent, high-quality output Nice to Have - Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or AI training workflows - Background in information security, internal audit, or enterprise risk management - Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP Why Join Us - Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top-tier research teams - Fully remote and flexible — set your own hours and workload - Freelance autonomy with the backing of a globally collaborative platform - Meaningful work that puts your professional expertise to use in a new and impactful way - Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as projects grow
