Your hands-on knowledge of network defense, endpoint protection, and enterprise security operations will directly shape how next-generation AI systems understand, reason about, and respond to security threats. This is a rare opportunity to do meaningful, high-impact work — on your own schedule, from anywhere. - Organization: Alignerr - Type: Hourly Contract - Location: Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do - Analyze realistic network, endpoint, and email security scenarios across modern enterprise environments - Review firewall configurations, EDR telemetry, and infrastructure security cases to identify what went wrong and why - Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data - Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI systems - Clearly document root causes, attack paths, and business impact in structured formats Who You Are - 2+ years of hands-on experience in network security, infrastructure security, or endpoint protection roles - Familiar with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM systems, SIEMs, and enterprise security tooling - Strong understanding of how real organizations deploy, operate, and fail with security controls - Able to break down complex security scenarios into clear, structured explanations - Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills Nice to Have - Experience with incident response, threat hunting, or red/blue team operations - Familiarity with cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Background in security architecture, compliance, or risk management - Prior experience contributing to AI, data labeling, or security research projects Why Join Us - Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top-tier research labs - Fully remote and flexible — set your own hours and work at your own pace - Freelance autonomy with meaningful, intellectually engaging work - Contribute to AI systems that will shape the future of enterprise security - Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
