Chemist
About this role
Overview Models routinely propose impossible mechanisms, unsafe procedures, and syntheses that no bench chemist would attempt. As a Chemist you'll evaluate AI chemical reasoning, catch what's wrong or unsafe, and write the answers a trained chemist would give. What you’ll actually do - Write prompts that probe chemical reasoning: mechanisms, synthesis routes, and analytical interpretation. - Review AI output for impossible mechanisms, unsafe procedures, and misread spectra, and rate the reasoning. - Write the correct answer when the model falls short, with proper attention to conditions and safety. Roles this fits Common backgrounds: Chemist, Analytical Chemist. What we look for - Graduate-level chemistry background or equivalent lab experience. - Comfort across organic, inorganic, or physical chemistry. - Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal. - No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it. How it works Apply Qualify Work & get paid Compensation Up to $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $100k–$200k a year; some make it their full-time income. About DataAnnotation DataAnnotation is where 1M+ experts train the world’s leading AI models.
