This is a rare opportunity to influence how AI understands and reasons about cybersecurity at scale. - Organization: Alignerr - Type: Hourly Contract - Location: Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do - Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios drawn from modern enterprise environments - Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to identify what went wrong and why - Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data - Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI systems - Clearly articulate root causes, threat context, and business impact in structured formats Who You Are - 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles - Solid familiarity with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and common enterprise tooling - Strong understanding of how real organizations deploy and operate security controls in production - Able to communicate security issues clearly — not just spot them, but explain them - Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in an async environment Nice to Have - Experience with incident response, threat hunting, or security operations - Background in writing technical documentation, runbooks, or security assessments - Familiarity with AI or data labeling workflows Why Join Us - Work directly on frontier AI and security systems with top research labs - Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule - Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration - Contribute to meaningful work that makes AI more accurate and security-aware - Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
