As a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst, your hands-on experience with firewalls, EDR, SIEMs, and enterprise environments will directly shape how AI understands and reasons about cybersecurity threats. This is a unique opportunity to move beyond reactive incident response and contribute to something bigger: building the security intelligence layer inside next-generation AI. - Organization: Alignerr - Type: Hourly Contract - Location: Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do - Analyze realistic network, endpoint, and email security scenarios drawn from modern enterprise environments - Review firewall logs, EDR alerts, and infrastructure security cases to determine root causes and failure points - Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data - Create, label, and validate security training datasets used to improve AI reasoning and response quality - Clearly explain security issues, their root causes, and business impact in structured formats Who You Are - 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles - Solid familiarity with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and enterprise tooling - Strong understanding of how real organizations deploy and operate security controls at scale - Able to communicate complex security concepts clearly and concisely in writing - Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments Nice to Have - Experience with threat hunting, incident response, or red/blue team operations - Background in security architecture, cloud security, or zero-trust environments - Familiarity with AI or data annotation workflows Why Join Us - Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top security and research teams - Fully remote and flexible — work on your schedule, from anywhere - Freelance autonomy with meaningful, intellectually engaging work - Contribute to AI that will help defend real organizations against real threats - Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
