DataAnnotation

Ukrainian Specialist

About this role

Overview Ukrainian gives AI structure it cannot fake: cases, verb aspect, and agreement that must hold across the sentence, plus the ty and vy distinction. The model also slips Russian-influenced phrasing into Ukrainian, which a native reader spots at once. As a Ukrainian Expert, you'll judge and correct AI output in Ukrainian, teaching models to write clean, natural Ukrainian. What you’ll actually do - Assess translations between English and Ukrainian for accuracy, flow, and register. - Rate and rank model output in Ukrainian, flagging broken cases, wrong aspect, and Russian-influenced phrasing. - Rewrite what falls short so it reads as native Ukrainian, not a gloss. Roles this fits Common backgrounds: Ukrainian Linguist, Bilingual Reviewer, Localization Specialist. What we look for - Native or near-native fluency in Ukrainian. - A firm grip on case, aspect, and the ty versus vy distinction. - Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal. - No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it. How it works Apply Qualify Work & get paid Compensation Up to $40/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $100k–$200k a year; some make it their full-time income. About DataAnnotation DataAnnotation is where 1M+ experts train the world’s leading AI models.
