We're looking for experienced Business Performance Analysts to lead and mentor teams creating high-quality, business-focused content that trains the next generation of AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience required — just a strong foundation in business analysis and a track record of leading teams to deliver quality work. - Organization: Alignerr - Type: Hourly Contract - Location: Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do - Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Content Specialists creating structured, business-focused AI training content - Allocate tasks, manage workflows, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across projects - Conduct thorough QA reviews of team outputs, refining processes and lifting overall quality standards - Provide clear, actionable performance feedback, coaching, and professional development support - Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, delivering regular progress updates - Guide the creation of case studies, business scenarios, and domain-focused content spanning finance, policy, e-commerce, strategy, and more - Identify gaps in content quality and implement systematic improvements across the team Who You Are - Experienced team leader with a proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop analytical talent - Strong business analyst or consultant background — you understand how to break down complex problems and communicate insights clearly - Naturally detail-oriented with a sharp eye for logical consistency, accuracy, and analytical rigour - Skilled at giving structured, constructive feedback that genuinely improves work quality - Creative thinker who can approach business scenarios from multiple angles - Excellent communicator — comfortable collaborating across teams and reporting to stakeholders - Self-directed and reliable when working autonomously in a remote environment - No prior AI or tech experience required Requirements - 2+ years of team management or team leadership experience - 3–6 years in business analysis, management consulting, strategy, or a closely related domain - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience - Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate the quality of business reasoning and content - Ability to provide detailed annotations and structured feedback Nice to Have - Master's degree or MBA in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline - Experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or content evaluation workflows - Background in case study writing, academic research, or structured business content creation - Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation as an end user Why Join Us - Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI development teams - Fully remote and flexible — structure your hours around your life, not the other way around - Freelance autonomy with the substance of meaningful, high-impact work - Gain firsthand exposure to how advanced AI models are trained and evaluated - Make a direct, tangible contribution to how AI understands business, strategy, and economics - Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
